Founding Member Terms & Conditions

These Founding Member Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern participation in the HALE Founding Member program for HF-01 offered by HALE Formula, Inc. ("HALE", "we", "us"). By placing a Founding Member deposit, you agree to these Terms in addition to our standard Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. The Founding Member Deposit
The Founding Member program is a pre-launch reservation. When you reserve your spot, your payment method is charged in full at the time of checkout for the deposit amount displayed on the reservation page. This charge is not an authorization or hold — funds are captured immediately and used to finance the first production run of HF-01.
2. 500-Member Cap
Founding Member spots are strictly limited to the first 500 reservations, in the order deposits are received and successfully charged. Once 500 spots are filled, reservations close and any further sign-ups will be added to a standard waitlist without the Founding Member benefits described in these Terms.
3. Estimated Shipping
Estimated shipping for Founding Member orders is November 2026. This date is an estimate based on our current production schedule and is not a guaranteed delivery date. Manufacturing, ingredient sourcing, third-party testing, and shipping logistics may shift the actual ship window. We will keep Founding Members informed of any material change to the timeline by email.
4. Refunds if MOQ Isn't Met
The first HF-01 production run requires a minimum order quantity ("MOQ") to be viable. If the MOQ is not met by the reservation cutoff, HALE will cancel the production run and issue every Founding Member a full refund of their deposit, to the original payment method, within 14 business days of the cancellation announcement. No further action is required from you to receive this refund.
5. -40% Founding Member Pricing — Price Lock
Founding Members receive -40% off the retail subscription price of HF-01 for life, subject to the following conditions:
- The -40% Founding Member rate is only valid while your subscription remains active and in good standing.
- If you cancel your subscription at any point, you permanently forfeit the Founding Member rate. Resuming a subscription later will be billed at standard pricing then in effect. There is no reinstatement of the Founding rate after cancellation, for any reason.
- Pausing your subscription (versus cancelling) does not forfeit the rate, provided the pause is initiated through your account and does not exceed 6 consecutive months.
- The Founding Member rate is tied to the original account and payment method used to place the deposit. It is non-transferable and may not be resold or assigned.
6. Cancelling Your Reservation Before Shipment
You may request cancellation of your Founding Member reservation and a refund of your deposit at any time before your first order ships by emailing hello@haleformula.com. Cancelling your reservation before shipment also cancels your Founding Member status and the associated -40% price lock.
7. Happy-Dog Guarantee (Post-Ship)
Once your first jar ships, our standard 30-day happy-dog guarantee applies. If your dog doesn't love HF-01, contact us within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of your first order — keep the jar. This guarantee is separate from, and does not affect, the MOQ refund described in Section 4.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the program. Material changes will be communicated to Founding Members by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued participation after that period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
